Building fasteners are widely used in building construction, decoration, decoration and other fields. The CE certification of building fastener products has been following the building product instruction (i. e., the CPD instruction) for a long time so far. In order to more strictly implement the CE certification of building products, from 1 July 2013, the European Union issued the building product regulations (Construction Product Regulation No.305 / 2011 / EU CPR Regulation) has fully replaced the original building product CPD directive and entered the mandatory implementation phase. The new regulations greatly improve the requirements for building materials products, such as fire prevention and fire safety, energy conservation and environmental protection, health and noise impact. If the export enterprises do not meet the corresponding requirements, their products are difficult to be widely accepted in the European Union.
The European standards applicable to the CE certification of building fasteners mainly include the European Coordination standards (hEN) developed and approved by CEN, CENELEC and ETSI and the European Assessment Document (European Assessment Document) issued by the European Technical Accreditation Organization (EOTA). The purpose of establishing EOTA is to remove the technical barriers caused by the different standards and requirements for building materials products. The organization is composed of the European Technology Assessment Agency nominated by EU member states and members of the European Free Trade Agreement.
CE-certified products that meet the provisions of their performance declaration, can be marked with CE marks and circulated freely in the markets of the member states of the European Free Trade Agreement.

② EN Certification Basic process:
1. Determine the applicable European Coordinating standard (hEN) for the product, and submit the application for testing or certification to the qualified European Union Notified Body (Notified Body) according to the Performance Stability Assessment Certification System level (AVCP System) within the standard.
2. Determine the necessity of the product required statement, and the final test and evaluation protocol will be developed in combination with the coordination criteria and the required performance statement.
3. The EU announcement body shall perform the certification work in combination with testing, calculation and factory production control audit, and issue the type test report, factory production control audit report and issue the CE certificate.
4. CE mark your product and make a DOP product performance statement
5. The certificate is continuously monitored by the EU notified body of the European Technical Assessment (European Technical Assessment) and the Building Product Regulation (CPR).

② Basic process of ETA certification:
1. Determine that the product is applicable to the European Assessment Document (European Assessment Document), submit the assessment applications to the European Technical Assessment Agency (Technical Assessment Body), and submit the necessary technical documents.
2. To determine the necessity of the product declaration, the final test and evaluation protocol will be developed in combination with the evaluation document and the performance that must be declared.
3. By the European technology assessment agency (Technical Assessment Body) through testing or calculation of product technology evaluation, and issue the European technology assessment (European Technical Assessment), EOTA will be the European technology assessment within the scope of the public a period of time, in the period such as the member state of the technical assessment agency has no objection, the European technology assessment can take effect.

CE marks must be added to the product by the manufacturer or the manufacturer''s authorized representative in the EU. CE marks must be clearly and permanently added to the product or its nameplate as per its standard pattern.
