European technical assessments, also known as ETAs, mainly involve information about the expected use, performance, and basic characteristics of products. 4、 Test the product and verify its compliance

Manufacturers are responsible for testing their products and checking their compliance with EU regulations (compliance assessment process). Risk assessment is the fundamental rule in the assessment process, and only after meeting the requirements of relevant EU coordination standards can you possibly meet the basic requirements of EU official regulations.

5、 Draft and save technical documents required by ETAG standards

Manufacturers must establish a European Assessment Document (EAD) for their products based on the requirements of the directive and the needs of risk assessment. If required by the relevant authorized department, the manufacturer must submit the technical documents and EC conformity declaration together for inspection.

6、 Attach the ETA logo to your product and make an EC conformity declaration

The ETA logo must be affixed to the product by the manufacturer or their authorized representative. The ETA logo must be clearly and permanently affixed to the product or its nameplate according to its standard design. If the notified body participates in product certification, the ETA mark must bear the notified body's announcement number. Manufacturers are obliged to draft an EC conformity declaration and sign it to prove that the product meets the ETA requirements.
